Lactiplantibacillus plantarum o Lactobacillus plantarum is a beneficial bacterium found in plants, the gastrointestinal tracts of humans and animals, and human saliva. It thrives and reproduces rapidly at temperatures ranging from 15°C to 42°C, producing substantial amounts of lactic acid. This bacterium is widely used in fermented foods, animal feed, environmental protection, and health products for treating human diseases.
Our proprietary strain, Lactiplantibacillus plantarum Lp-G18 was isolated from naturally fermented sour milk in the Ili region of Xinjiang. It produces high levels of glutamine synthetase, an endogenous enzyme with superior bioavailability and body affinity, supporting muscle synthesis, weight management, and enhanced immune function.
