DESCRIPTION:

 

BB-G90 powder contains Bifidobacterium bifidum BB-G90 and a special cryoprotectant agent. Bifidobacterium bifidum is found primarily in the large intestine. Bifidobacterium are ubiquitous, endosymbiotic inhabitants of the gastrointestinal tract, vagina of mammals and other animals. Bifidobacterium bifidum BB-G90 helps the body in absorption of calcium, iron, magnesium and other vitamins and minerals. It produces lactic and acetic acids to inhibit pathogenic bacteria. It also can reduce the incidence of acute diarrhea in infants and is beneficial in the treatment of inflammatory bowel disease.

 

Bifidobacterium bifidum (B.bifidum), is part of the Bifidobacterium family. This bacteria is a Gram-positive bacteria that is non-motile, anaerobic, and non-spore forming. It is rod shaped and can be found living in clusters, pairs, or even independently. B.bifidum is found in the colon, lower small intestine, breast milk, and often in the vagina. The optimized growth temperature for B.bifidum is 36~38ºC. Its metabolic mechanism allows heteromorphosis to ferment glucose, galactose, fructose etc. to produce Lactic Acid, Acetic Acid, as well as Enzymes, Vitamins etc.
