BB-G95 powder is composed of Bifidobacterium breve BB-G95 and a special cryoprotectant agent. Bifidobacterium breve colonizes the large intestine and is a producer of lactic and acetic acids that inhibits the growth of undesirable bacteria. Bifidobacterium breve (B.breve), is part of the Bifidobacterium family, and it is a Gram-positive bacteria, non-motile, anaerobic, and non-spore forming. B.breve is a common and sometimes very abundant inhabitant of the human gut (including the infant's gut); it can also be isolated in other environments, including human milk, the adult gut, and human vagina. The optimized cultivation temperature for B.breve is below 37ºC. Its metabolic mechanism allows heteromorphosis to ferment glucose, galactose, fructose etc. to produce Lactic Acid, Acetic Acid, as well as Enzymes, Vitamins etc.
