Our proprietary strain, Lactiplantibacillus plantarum ZJUF T17 was isolated from traditional Chinese sourdough. This strain produces a highly potent form of glutamine synthetase (GS) rather than synthesizing glutamine directly. The internally produced GS has superior bioavailability, remaining unaffected by gastric or bile salt pressures.
