Limosilactobacillus reuteri is a Gram-positive bacterium naturally found in the gut of mammals and birds. It also occurs in natural environments such as fermented foods, meat, and dairy products. This bacterium can grow in both aerobic and anaerobic conditions, though it thrives better in aerobic environments. Additionally, it can survive in the presence of nitrogen dioxide. Limosilactobacillus reuteri can metabolize monosaccharides but cannot digest or utilize lactose.
Our proprietary strain, Limosilactobacillus reuteri LR-G100 was isolated from naturally fermented sour milk in the Caucasus region. It is an anti-allergenic and anti-pathogenic lactic acid bacterium.
