Strains introduction
Lactobacillus plantarum is a homofermentative fermented, gram-positive-aerotolerant bacteria, it can grow up at 15ºC, but the optimized growth temperature is 30-35ºC. As a typical Lactic Acid Bacteria, Its metabolism mechanism can produce large lactic acid, acetic acid, lactobacilli etc. It has the ability to destroy pathogens and to preserve critical nutrients, vitamins. It also has an unique ability to consume oxygen ultimately as the antioxidants.
